Passed away on December 18, 2011 at Manor Care in Bethesda, MD. Born in Washington, DC on May 18, 1928. He is survived by wife his wife of 18 years, Mary Davison-Lewis and their son, Elvin Davison. He is preceded in death by his son, Robert and is survived by his son, Carroll, Joseph, Jon and Vinson and his daughters, Claudette and Jacqueline, children of Carolyn; two borthers, Francis "Buddy" and James "Bobo"; sister, Catherine; five grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.

In lieu of flowers, please make contributions in the name of Robert J. Lewis, Sr. to the Rockville Volunteer Fire Department.
