Carolyn Eileen McArthur of Gaithersburg, MD, passed away on February 26, 2013 after a two- year courageous battle against colon cancer. Carolyn was a beloved wife, mother, and retiree of United Airlines where she served 35 delightful years with the company. Carolyn, professionally, was kind, generous, and hard working. She won the prestigious Sales Representative of the Year for United Airlines in 1986. Personally, Carolyn was equally warm, loving, and selfless. She cared for her ailing husband, her soul mate Don, for ten years until his passing. Carolyn was a person who had a generous spirit and melodious voice that would light up any room. She shared her vocal talents for friends' weddings and for the Church of Redeemer choir. Carolyn was a sister in Christ and leaves behind her loving daughter, Kimberly, devoted sister Katherine, and brother William. She is now a beautiful angel.
