• Attended college at Ohio State and graduated from Youngstown State University.
• Received his Masters in Chemistry at the University of Pittsburgh.
• Continued education with classes at Howard University.
• Veteran, serving 2 years in the US Army.
• Chemist at the US Food and Drug Administration for 34 years
• Taught in Montgomery County School System
• Founder of the group "Young Black Leaders" at Richard Montgomery High School
