Olivia Johnson, 52, passed away peacefully at Genesis Healthcare Layhill Center on November 24, 2017. She was battling with cancer and passed peacefully that evening.

She was a great mother, daughter, sister, niece, and good friend to many. Born on December 10, 1964 in Dillwyn, Virginia.

Olivia leaves behind her mother, Verna Johnson; her father, Clarence Johnson; two daughters Chanita Williams and Janese Johnson; two sisters Monica Carter, and Lisa; one brother Clarence Johnson Jr.; her aunts Florence (Jesse), Margaret (Nathaniel) and Patricia; her uncles Bill, Floyd (Linda) and Lynne (Camilla); a brother in law, Allen Carter; one son-in-law, Kevin Williams; and a granddaughter Mattie Moore-Williams.

She was a great aunt to her nieces and they adored her. Olivia was what many would call the sweetest woman on this planet. She always had a smile on her face and was so willing to help others. She absolutely enjoyed singing especially gospels and old school music, reading, cross word puzzles, and cooking.

She worked at Friends House Nursing Home for 12 years as a housekeeper and laundry aid. She loved her job and her job loved her. She was a very hardworking woman who took pride in her work. Because of her generous spirit and loving personality she will be missed my many.

Her beautiful life will forever be cherished by all that knew her.
